Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2013 Santenay Vieilles Vignes comes from 50-year-old vines and sees 25% to 30% new oak. It has an attractive bilberry and black cherry nose that opens nicely with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied, just a little reduced with what you might call a solid, no frills finish. Give it a year in bottle to mellow out and it might just merit a higher appraisal.
