This 2009 wine is an Amarone della Valpolicella Classico produced by Allegrini. It displays a ruby-tinted dense and dark red colour. It is open on the nose and has evolved, very subtle fragrances such as dried fig and pepper. After swirling, the whole evolves on singular accents of pecan nuts. For now, the palate is born on a tight, strong but not aggressive tannin structure. The wine is lingering and should be given the time to reach its full harmony.
